Tyler Gant was born and raised in the Los Angeles metro area, a place that, in its sprawling vastness, requires one to be an explorer. It is the most ethnically diverse metropolis on the planet and because of this discovery sits on every corner.
In 1994, Tyler received a B.A. from the University of California and moved into the area of LA known as the Miracle Mile. Six years later, an MPW was received from the University of Southern California. It was 2000 by this time, the new millennium, so Tyler took off and moved to Sydney, Australia to live and work in the manic atmosphere of the Olympic Games.
In 2001, the novelist purchased a modest home in Signal Hill, California and found a job to “put some bacon on the table” at nearby Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. In 2006, Kansas was published and with it came the realization of a series of novels; outlined and noted since returning from Australia.
Tyler has had a multitude of experiences in life, many are infused into the New Century series. “I believe in novels. I believe in the word, and the enjoyment of the story, the twists that lives take, and the adventures that hide inside every day - even those found in our drives to work.”
Read. Enjoy. Live.
